We were informed on the 22nd June that there is the possibility of an emergency fund from the Home Office that would be available for registered charities, charitable incorporated organisations and social enterprises; including companies limited by guarantee and community interest companies (with an income of less than £100,000 per annum).
Organisations in these categories who provide:
- *Critical front line services to vulnerable children and young people aged 8-18yrs (up to 25 with SEN) and at risk of serious violence in Essex, Southend and Thurrock
- And who have needed to adapt their work in response to the immediate pressures created by Covid-19 would be eligible for funding.
This funding would be a one off contribution to help organisations who are experiencing immediate financial hardship, significantly increased demand, or who have had to urgently adapt services to meet Covid-19 associated measures.
The financial contribution can cover work delivered from the 1st April to 31st October 2020.
If you would be interested in applying for this funding then complete the excel application and reply to rachel.brett@email@example.com & Samantha.firstname.lastname@example.org by COP Friday 26th June so that we can let the home office know by their submission deadline.
