ECVYS Advocate and Member guidance

Charitable organisations that encompass youth provision (ages 11-19 or up to age 25 with SEN) are eligible to apply for ECVYS membership as detailed below. Please note: Community Interest Companies (CIC’s) are not eligible to become members

ECVYS Advocate Groups that don’t meet our membership criteria but still want to be actively involved.	Free	-ECVYS mailshot-Cluster meetings-Updates from Essex Safeguarding Children Board, Children and Young People’s Partnership Board, The Essex Compact, The Essex Alliance and other relevant local and national updates
Level 1: Affiliated Membership Small voluntary youth organisations or groups that are based in their local area, with a focused reach.	£20 yearly	-ECVYS mailshot-Cluster meetings-Training courses-Updates from Essex Safeguarding Children Board, Children and Young People’s Partnership Board, The Essex Compact, The Essex Alliance and other relevant local and national updates
Level 2: Associate Membership Voluntary youth organisations that are established to serve a small part of the county i.e across one or two geographical areas.	£30 yearly	-ECVYS mailshot-Cluster meetings-Training courses-Training grant-One vote at AGM-Updates from Essex Safeguarding Children Board, Children and Young People’s Partnership Board, The Essex Compact, The Essex Alliance and other relevant local and national updates
Level 3: Full Membership Large voluntary youth organisations with a membership of smaller youth clubs/groups across the county. Must offer infrastructure support to smaller youth clubs as part of their offer	£40 yearly	-ECVYS mailshot-Cluster meetings-Training courses-Training grant–Three votes at AGM-Updates from Essex Safeguarding Children Board, Children and Young People’s Partnership Board, The Essex Compact, The Essex Alliance and other relevant local and national updates
